Your journey starts when you leave Athens at 08:00 AM in a branded coach. Instead of a generic highway stop, enjoy a peaceful coastal break in our journey. Take some time out for a coffee, light brunch, or just relax at a beachside café. Meals must be paid for on-site or through a pre-order on our on-board app.
Arrival in Meteora and Lunch in Kastraki.
At 12:30 pm, you will reach the mesmerizing village of Kastraki below the Meteora cliffs. Savor a leisurely lunch at a classic taverna serving a variety of Greek dishes, including vegetarian and vegan options. The price of the tour doesn’t include lunch.

Around 1:15 PM, start your guided Meteora Tour—a place where nature and faith coalesce in a breathtaking landscape. With your expert local guide, you will.
Check out 2–3 of Meteora’s active monasteries (based on the daily availability) and check their interiors, frescoes and rich nuanced history.
Check out viewpoints boasting a panoramic view of the six monasteries.
Check out the widely known hermit caves of Badovas, earlier housing the first ascetics.
Deeply learning the mystical origin of Meteora and its geological phenomena.
This segment of the trip is both visually appealing and spiritually uplifting; it is one of the highlights of a tour in Greece.
Seaside Sunset Stop in Kamena Vourla.
On our way to Athens, we will have one last stop in Kamena Vourla at around 20:00. Dine by the sea or drink your favorite beverage as the sun sets over the Aegean. Dinner out of the tour price.
Return to Athens.
Return in Athens at 22:30 after an unforgettable day of history, nature and culture.

Meeting Point
The bus will be conveniently stationed on the street directly across from the Central Railway Station of Athens (Stathmos Larisis), adjacent to Everest cafe. Please locate our bus parked just across the street EVEREST cafe at the opposite side of the train station (Larissis Station) entrance. You can reach the meeting point with the red line Athens metro. Exit from Deligianni street and the bus will be parked 50 meters left from the metro station. Please be there at 07.45am 15 minutes prior to departure time.
Good to know
- Not suitable for children under 6 years, people with mobility impairments, with heart problems or other serious medical conditions and wheelchair users
- Wear comfortable shoes and clothes
- A modest dress code is enforced to enter the monasteries. For women, skirts below the knee are required. Pants, shorts, or sleeveless shirts are not allowed. For men, sleeveless clothing and shorts above the knee are also prohibited.
- There’s no need for a printed ticket, simply provide your name or show your booking voucher on your phone when boarding the bus.
- Seats are not assigned, so you are free to choose your seat
