Itinerary
Your day begins with a relaxing drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf. Soon you reach your first stop, the Corinth Canal. From the bridge, admire the deep, narrow passage carved through solid rock — a unique engineering achievement and a perfect place for photos.
Continue toward Ancient Mycenae, one of the most powerful centers of the Mycenaean civilization during the Late Bronze Age. Enter the site through the Lion Gate and step into a world of history and legend. You will explore the remains of the palace, the massive defensive walls, and the impressive Tholos Tombs. Your guide will explain how the Mycenaeans lived and why this place became forever connected with stories like the Trojan War.
The entrance fee to Mycenae is included in your tour price.
If you have chosen the lunch option, you will enjoy a meal in the Mycenae area before continuing.
Next, travel to Nafplion, a town shaped by Venetian and Greek influences. During your guided walking tour, discover charming narrow streets, elegant squares, and seaside views. After the guided walk, enjoy free time to stroll the old town, take photos of Bourtzi Castle, relax by the harbor, or admire the Palamidi Fortress from below.
Finally, return to Athens in the late afternoon after a day full of history, scenery, and unforgettable moments.
